No sauce served despite that I had ordered twice. The food was partly cold

Had good lunch buffet! Tastes good.

I had lunch here today and it was really tasty. The selection was a bit small but that wasn't a problem. Even now with Corona there were no problems. Gladly again!

Very good restaurant, especially recommended for lunch. Good price-performance ratio. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Despite stricter hygiene rules, a buffet works. Any time.

Always enjoy going here! There is a large selection, enough space and nice staff. The only point of criticism is the price, which is high, but still worth it!

Three people ate almost 100 Euros, without telling me in advance, the prices have changed, and the prices on the menu are also normal. They also asked whether there is a buffet. The prices are outrageous and there are very few dishes during the epidemic.

The tastiest food and the best Chinese restaurant so far!

Is not the same as it used to be! Out of 50 tables, 10 were taken and despite 5 employees, each of our orders was wrong or not at all. Ps: there is no longer all you can eat from the buffet, you order your all you can food under the condition that is totally overwhelmed because each table places at least 20 orders

Here you are served very courteously and quickly. The staff is very friendly and the value for money is very good.

We were eating there when we were on vacation in HD-Kirchheim and we were totally in the mood for duck, sushi and co .. I really have to say that it is extremely unfortunate that we cannot eat there often. We literally ate our way through the "buffet" and even I (as a vegetarian) soon had to surrender because these delicious dishes simply no longer fit my stomach. Thanks to the new corona-friendly buffet concept, all dishes are freshly prepared and delivered directly to the table, which means that you, as a customer, only have to worry about eating and re-ordering. Friendly staff, a nice ambience and also really fair prices for the delicacies you get there. Will definitely be a stop again on our next trip to Heidelberg. 5 stars are really justified here.

Food was very good, waiter who took care of us, perfect service, very nice and asked again and again whether everything was good, plates were cleared away so that nothing is standing around unnecessarily. After paying, however, we noticed that the boss immediately pocketed the employee's tip for herself, although she never took care of us !!!! So cheeky not to be allowed to keep your own tip for a top service! P.s then tipped the waiter again properly in the high 2-digit range, of course unnoticed by the boss so that it comes into the right hands this time.

Even during Corona times, the all you can eat buffet was perfectly organized, if not better than before! The waitresses were super friendly, the food was very fresh and tasty, much better than at Shanghai Heidelberg! I can only warmly recommend it

Very good buffet, due to the corona at your own place. A cool system was set up, in which the customer can order up to 5 dishes per run. The taste is good, the service fast and friendly and the price can't be beat! Keep it up Gourmet City!

The very inviting atmosphere and artistic furnishing is the perfect setting for a culinary evening of a special kind - apparently no wish remains unfulfilled with the huge range of delicacies ... I am thrilled! My highlights: sushi, Mongolian grill and chocolate fountain !!

Sunday nights can get chaotic but for the price lot of food on offer. I specially like Sesame chicken - reminds me of my days in US.

Delicious food, you can find a variety of dishes from meat, sushi, seafood, vegetarian food, sweets, fruits and vegetables. There is a fixed payment, only for drinks you pay extra.

Worth for money in the afternoon buffet

There is all you can eat option available and there are a lot of variety to try. The food quality is just okay but there is not of desert options.

Gourmet City is located a bit far away from the center of Heidelberg but is well-connected by public transportation. The restaurant is very well designed and modern. It's quite a nice place to come to with a big group. My friends and I were here for the all you can eat buffet and to be honest, I was disappointed by the taste of the food. My Wantans were over-fried, the Thai red curry was bland, the sushi rice was overcooked and the kimchi quite frankly didn't taste authentic. On the plus side, the Mongolian grill was pretty delicious. You could put your own plate of raw ingredients together and give it to the chefs to grill. It is difficult to expect more from such mass-produced dishes/all you can eat buffets but I had heard a lot about this restaurant so it was a disappointing experience. I would recommend other places in Heidelberg for high-quality and authentic Asian food... SameSame for Japanese food, Soban/Gogi matcha for Korean food and Yangda for Chinese food. Hope this helps :)

Nothing special

The food was very good. The buffet is really big. The staff looked stressed but still managed everything nicely. I was really happy with the experience.

The food is nice, but the behaviour of the staff leaves much to be desired. I'll give 2 examples. 1. We were a group of 3, and chose to be seated close to the buffet section as we ordered the buffet. The staff made so many faces just because we wanted to change the table. Mind you, we went in at around 10 pm, so there was no rush - many empty tables. 2. The restaurant is open till 11:30 pm, but the buffet closes down at 10:30 pm. Nobody told us that while we ordered, that we had just 30 minutes to eat. Nobody told us that while we were eating either, that "please geta the food you want, we will be closing soon." On top of that, some of the dishes (entefleisch noodles) took them around 15 minutes to replenish. Everything closed down before we were even halfway through our meal. Terrible experience. This is just plain dishonesty.

When I miss Chinese food, come here take All you can eat. I made reservations before going there and always received good service. Since I have a baby, I can't go there because there is no baby bed in the toilet but if there is I would still want to go eat.

Hugh selection of medium Chinese foods. Best is Mongolian BBQ. Service slow and uninterested.

Food could have been better. I can't say anything about the sushi, because I didn't eat any. Service was okay but not great.
